The finishing touch

Ready to
be treasured.

Framing is included for portraits with two or more subjects. Single-subject prices are without a frame, giving you the freedom to choose a style you love.

If framing is arranged, allow two weeks (10 working days), excluding weekends, for the professional framing stage; the full schedule will be confirmed before you commit.

A few more
details.

What photograph should I send? +

Choose the clearest, highest-quality photograph you have. For faces and pets, sharp eyes and clearly visible features give Ryan more detail to work from. We'll check an image's suitability before confirming.

Can I include more than one person or pet? +

Yes. The price guide above includes combinations of up to five subjects, depending on size. Get in touch with the combination you have in mind.

How long does a portrait take? +

Timescales vary with the detail, number of subjects and any framing. Let us know if you have a particular date in mind and we'll confirm what's possible before you order.

Is a deposit needed? +

A 35% non-refundable deposit is required to begin an agreed commission. The remaining balance is due before shipping. Please ask for the full commission terms before paying. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

Can I visit the studio? +

Yes, by prior arrangement. Ryan's studio is at Elysium Art Centre, Studio 20, Swansea. Get in touch to arrange a convenient time.

Can I choose my own frame? +

Yes. Single-subject portraits are already supplied unframed. If your portrait includes professional framing, you can choose to arrange your own frame instead. The price will remain the same if you decide not to have a frame, but you can receive your portrait sooner because you won't need to wait the two weeks (10 working days, excluding weekends) for the frame to be handmade. Please let us know your preference when ordering.

Can I order a portrait as a gift? +

Of course. A hand-drawn portrait can make a thoughtful gift for a birthday, anniversary or another special occasion. Tell us your preferred date when you enquire, and we’ll confirm whether drawing, framing and delivery can be completed in time.

What if I need to cancel? +

If you need to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible. The published commission terms include a 35% non-refundable deposit.

How do I pay? +

All payments must be made by bank transfer. We’ll provide the bank details when your commission is confirmed.

My portrait includes professional frame, how long will this take ? +

The frame is handmade by a local professional framing company, and will take two weeks (10 working days), excluding weekends to complete .
