Hello, my name is Ryan Jones and I'm an Autistic Freelance Sketch Artist. I’m passionate about bringing my drawings to life, whether it’s landscapes, people, or animals. Exploring new places inspires me — when I see something that catches my eye, I feel the urge to capture it on paper.
I was diagnosed with non-verbal autism at an early age and struggled with speech and language. I found it hard to express myself through words, but with a pencil and paper in hand, I discovered a different way to communicate. My drawings became my voice. Even when I could only say a few words, my art helped others understand me. Over time, my speech improved, but drawing has remained my strongest way of expressing how I see the world.
Today, I specialise in graphite pencil portraits — from families and couples to pets and observational scenes. Being on the spectrum gives me a unique focus and patience, allowing me to notice the small details that make each portrait truly special. I draw in my own unique way — starting from the eye and building outward, not just tracing outlines — a process I often share in my videos. Every piece I create is made with care, precision, and the hope that it will become a memory you can treasure on your wall for years to come.

How to Order
Ordering your custom portrait is simple and personal. Once you’ve placed your order, I’ll email you a Dropbox link where you can upload the photo you'd like me to draw — whether it’s a loved one, a pet, or a special moment you want to remember.
I’ll then begin creating your portrait by hand, drawing directly from my phone — a unique process you can see in my behind-the-scenes videos. Every piece is carefully detailed and comes professionally framed, ready to hang or give as a gift.

Every commission I receive is handled as professionally and efficiently as possible, with communication being an important part to ensure every customer gets the best service possible. While I am responsible for creating any requested portraits, please be advised that all communication will be handled by personal family members acting on my behalf due to my ASD – however, rest assured that I have a hand in every commission that is requested and all correspondence will be brought to me to verify customers get the right information back.
